Job Description

Wallis Lynch - Accounts Assistant

Coventry - £18,000 - £21,000

Wallis Lynch are currently supporting our Coventry based client in their request to appoint an Accounts Assistant to join their expanding team. In this role you will report directly to the Finance Controller and is a new position that has been created due to the ongoing expansion and success of our clients business.

The nature of the role will be to support the general finance function with a wide range of accounting activities but will particularly focus on VAT returns, journal posting and CIS returns. Our client has an expanding finance team and as such can offer great prospects for further career enhancement too.

Essentially you will have previous experience of working in a finance function, perhaps on the Sales or Purchase Ledgers. Previous experience of VAT and CIS returns would be a major advantage. Any previous experience of using Sage systems would be highly advantageous, as would a good working knowledge of MS Excel.

This is very much a "hands on" role that requires someone willing to participate fully in the team as a whole and someone who is not adversed to assisting on other areas if required. Our client is based in a good location with very good transport links and offers free parking, working a 9.00 - 5.30 working day, Monday - Friday.

The business has experienced significant growth in recent years and has progressive plans to continue that development further and as such this is a great time to be joining an expanding SME who have a very successful business model.

Wallis Lynch operates as an employment business and employment agency for the provision of temporary and permanent vacancies
