Accounts Assistant
£19,000 - £24,000pa

We are currently recruiting for a newly created role based within our clients UK HQ in Coventry, our client is seeking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to their existing team.

Role Summary:
Working in a small team of 6 within the UK Finance function you will assist a Highly experienced Management Accountant with a broad range of Accounting activites across the function. As well as playoing a significant part in ensuring the day to day and Monhtly transactional activites are completed you will also step up and support on more advanced reporting and analysis to ensure the whole team deliver against UK and Internataional expectations.


  • Timely and accurate processing of Accounts Paybale invoices and associated reconciliations
  • Raising Sales ledger invoices/credit notes as required
  • Assisting in the reconciliation of the GL
  • Control and reporting of all employees weekly expense claims
  • Journals, prepayments and accruals
  • Inter-company accounting
  • Assist with Revenue and Cash flow forecasting
  • Control of the Fixed Asset reporting

What's required:

The role would be ideal if you are someone who is working towards or recently qualified your AAT, although consideration will be given to qualified by experience candidates too. Our clients environment will suit if you are a highly motivated, self-starter with strong numeric and analytical skills. Deadlines are tight within our clients Month end process so its certainly a great environment for you if you work well under pressure and enjoy delivering beyond expectation. A strong working knowledge of all MS packages will be essential, training will be offered on their own ERP system
