Finance Assistant - Rugby

At Wallis Lynch we are currently supporting our Rugby client to recruit an experienced Finance Assistant to join their small finance function. Working alongside a small team of 8 and reporting to the Financial Controller the main focus of the role will be to control the day to day transactional aspects of the function.
Our client is keen to secure a fast appointment and therefore is ideally looking to start someone temporary for a period of approx 4 week before (if all goes well) making the role permanent.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some previous finance experience looking to develop their skills in a varied finance role as part of a small team. This would suit someone studying towards an Accountancy qualification such as AAT or ACCA or CIMA. Your duties will include purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, supplier statements and other general ad hoc accounting duties as required.
We are looking for someone who has a flair for numbers, thrives under pressure, and holds high levels of written and verbal communication.
