At Wallis Lynch we are working with a great client based in Coventry to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and welcoming team to cover maternity leave for 12 months.
This is a fantastic opportunity within our client’s Finance function and will focus heavily on the bank reconciliations process. You will be given daily responsibility for reconciling revenues, liaising direct with unit managers to resolve queries and follow them through to successful resolutions. As the ideal candidate, you will have a great eye for detail and previous bank reconciliation experience preferably gained in a fast paced, Multi-Unit environment. Due to the nature of the work you will be proficient at working under your own supervision at times and have excellent prioritisation skills allowing you to meet your deadlines. Equally the role sits within a wider finance function and so you will be happy to offer your support colleagues when required.
In addition to having a good understanding of bank reconciliations and exceptional communication skills, a strong working knowledge of Excel would be highly advantageous for you to be a successful candidate in this process. As the ideal candidate it is also vital that you are able to work on your own initiative and also work well as part of a team.
In return we are offering you an hourly rate of £9 per hour for 35 hours per week working 9-5. We are also offering you free parking at the site, and the chance to work in a driven and motivated finance team. This role is covering maternity leave for 12 months so you must be available to start at short notice.
