Wallis Lynch is recruiting in partnership with our Warwickshire client to appoint a Accounts Payable Administrator to join their recently refurbished Head Office in Nuneaton.

About the role:

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor you will work in a wider Accounts Payable team of 20+ colleagues. Alongside your team members it will be your collective responsibility for ensuring that a high volume of invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner, seeking authorisation for payment at the appropriate stage. With specific responsibility for your own part of the ledger as well as processing high volumes you will be required to deal with all queries from start through to successful resolution. You will also get the chance to assist with the month end close down.

To be considered:

You will be an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant with a hunger and desire to be part of a first class Accounts payable function. You will of course need to be able to bring previous experience of working a high volume Accounts payable ledger with significant exposure to fast paced input/coding, chasing approvals and payment runs ideally within a multi-sited organisation.Training will be offered on the internal accounting package but a strong understanding of MS Excel would be advantageous. You will be expected to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders therefore the ability to communicate effectively with all levels will be essential.
