Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant, looking to join a large finance team offering a professional working environment?

At Wallis Lynch, we have a new and exciting opportunity to for Assistant Accountant to join our client’s thriving finance team based in Coventry.

Our client is well established large corporate company, with a friendly team ready to welcome you into their offices. In this Assistant Accountant role you will be supporting the management accountant in ensuring that company policy and procedures in relation to the capital expenditure process are fully enforced and ensure that assets of the company are safeguarded, secure and correctly recorded.

As the ideal candidate for this role you will be willing to do ad hoc reports as required, you will be confident liaising with internal and external auditors, you will have a flexible, analytical and methodical approach to problem solving, able to manage ever changing workloads and priorities. You will enjoy being self-motivated and having the opportunity to work from your own initiative. Crucially, you will be IT literate and proficient in MS Office and Excel. It is desirable but not essential that you are AAT qualified so don’t hesitate to apply if you lack this. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate good business and commercial acumen.

In return, you will be as part of a large friendly team and benefits include salary of £18,000 - £19,500 pa, free parking, a subsidised canteen.
