Finance Business Partner - West Midlands

Wallis Lynch are currently supporting our £MultiBillion t/o client in their search to appoint a Finance Business Partner to join the commercial finance team.
About the role:
The key focus of the role will be to provide internal stakeholders with commercial finance insight to drive profitability and aid in the decision support process. Supporting a non-finance division of the business you will work with Director level peers and have to challenge and influence appropriately at this level. Your remit will be varied and include activities such as:
- Revenue forecasting
- Modelling commercial deals, including scenario testing
- Provision of in-depth insightful analysis of margin and other commercial measurables
- Conduct various risk analysis with presentation of remedial recommendations
- Presentation of findings and recommendations at management meetings
- Ad hoc analytical support to the wider finance function
With this being such a high profile role you will need to be confident about working in a position that is very much in the spotlight of all the business and one where you will be in daily communication with and have to influence at the Director level. You will need to have a naturally analytical mindset and be commercially savvy, with an ability to see the bigger picture. Preferably a Graduate calibre individual you will need to have strong Excel skills (Minimum capability of V Look Up's, Pivot Tables and nested If's). You will have ideally qualified (or be in the latter stages) of your CIMA qualifications too.
