£30,000 + Free parking, 37 hours (potential flexibility on working hours), pension
Wallis Lynch is working with our Coventry based client to assist in the recruitment of a Management Accountant.
It's an exciting time for our client who are currently going through a period of exciting change and with a very positive buzz around the business, its a great time to be joining. In this role you will report directly to the Finance Director and assume responsibility for leading and guiding the finance team (AP, AR, Payroll and Admin). Your key responsibilities will include:-
- Production of Monthly/Weekly Management reporting
- Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts
- VAT returns/reporting
- Assist the FD with Periodic budgets and forecasts and provision of variance analysis
- Work closely with the Credit Controller to provide the business with accurate cash flow forecasting
- Oversee the team activity around the Sales/Purchase Ledger and payroll
The role will suit if you are used to taking on a Hands on role within an SME environment. Previous experience of guiding a team in a fast paced and challenging environment will be key. Our client is far more interested in experience than professional qualification, this is very much an environment for someone who likes to roll up their sleeves and get involved. Previous experience of Sage Line 50 and strong working knowledge of MS Excel is required.
