At Wallis Lynch we have a new and exciting opportunity for a Part Time Accounts Assistant to work 21 -24 hours/3 days a week in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
Our client is a well-established company with an excellent value base, looking for you to join their thriving, dynamic finance team.
In this fantastic Accounts Assistant role you will have a love for credit control and be ready to use your excellent telephone manner and pick up that phone! In addition you will have a meticulous eye for anticipating issues and escalating them accordingly. This is a varied role where you will be given a multitude of responsibilities including; managing the general ledgers, assisting in the company’s financial reporting, monthly bank reconciliations, expenses management, assisting with processing of wages and benefits, P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations and VAT returns.
As the ideal candidate for this role your reliability and can do attitude will align with the work ethic of the company. You will have excellent numeracy skills with a passion for accuracy, exceptional prioritisation and organisation skills. Vitally you should be full of energy, drive, determination and enthusiasm and an ability to work to tight deadlines. This is a role that requires you to be a team player, happy to volunteer to help with other work when necessary. Preferably, you will be studying AAT or be AAT qualified and confident in using Sage, confident in your abilities and keen to learn more.
In return we are offering an hourly rate of £12-17 per hour. This is a great opportunity to work in a successful company and gain some valuable accounting experience.
