Wallis Lynch are working with an SME in Stoneleigh to recruit a temporary part time accounts assistant to cover sales ledger duties whilst the Company Accountant is on holiday during November. You will be required to start asap until the end of November, with a chance of a longer term permanent position for someone should they be interested. The initial requirement to cover during November gives you flexibility to work approximately 20 hours per week, either every day during school hours or mornings or perhaps 3 full days. The client is really flexible and those that work there benefit from a flexible working environment within a small team that get on well. You will need to be hands on and happy to help out with general administration duties as well as manage the allocation of all incoming monies in the bank account, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and the Managing Director provided with the relevant information for customers that are required to be chased. This is not a high volume processing position, we are looking for someone accurate with an eye for detail who is happy to work closely with the MD within a small team to keep the sales ledger ticking over whilst the accountant is on holiday. Should the position become a longer term permanent role the duties required could grow to take on more within the accounts and general admin, depending on your experience and hours you wanted to work.
This is a rural setting with great views, lovely walks in the surrounding area and a great farm shop for lunch or a food stop on your way to/from work. It is a vibrant business park with an abundance of parking, a gym on site and the opportunity to work on a part time basis across hours that suit your commitments outside of work.
