Wallis Lynch are working with a small Rugby based business to recruit a Payroller to join their team.
In this role of Payroller you will be reporting to the supportive Business Owner, assuming the responsibility of controlling a number of different payroll amounting to approximately 250 employees with a mixture of weekly and monthly employees. You will be investigating and resolving payroll queries, statutory calculations such as SSP, SMP, SPP etc, P11ds, P45s, P46s and payment runs. You will be maintaining starter and leaver records accurately, doing ad hoc payroll administration and time sheet processing and supporting the wider business with finance administration.
As the successful candidate, you will have a proven track record in all aspects of payroll preparation to running the Payroll. You will be knowledgeable on payroll and government legislation relating to employee benefits and payments. You must also have excellent communication skills in order to effectively liaise with staff. You will receive full training on the internal accounting systems but any previous experience of using Pegasus would be highly advantageous.
In return we are offering you a salary of up to £21,000, AAT study sponsorship and the chance to work in a fantastic SME. This is a full time 9-5 position with an hour for lunch.
