Purchase Ledger Manager, Leamington Spa, £25,000 - £28,000 + Bonus, Pension, Healthcare

Wallis Lynch have been exclusively engaged to support our client in their search to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join their small finance function in Leamington Spa. With decades of heritage in the business, they have a great reputation for having built and maintained strong relationships with their customers/suppliers and are seeking a like-minded individual to come and take over from someone who is retiring from the business after 30+ years service.

Working for the Assistant Finance Manager you will assume responsibility for all matters relating to the purchase ledger, including:

  • Matching, batching and nominal coding of invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Processing BACS and cheque payments
  • Query resolution
  • Sub contractor ledger
  • Month end reporting
  • Year end reporting
  • Staff expenses
  • Other activities to support the team and cover at busy/holiday times

We are looking to appoint an experienced payables professional, someone who knows this side of the ledger inside out and someone who is happy to really take ownership for the full spectrum of activities within it, with stand alone responsiblity.  You will need to be able to handle heavy workloads and deal with  both processing and query resolutions, forging strong relationships internally and with suppliers. Training on their internal IT system will be provided.
