Accounts Payable  - Team leader

£20,000 - £23,000pa

Wallis Lynch is working with our Warwickshire based client in their quest to appoint a Accounts Payable professional to the team.

Role details:
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor you will work in a small direct team of 3 but a much wider Accounts payable team. Responsible for your own specific area within the much larger payables function, your main focus will be to ensure that all the invoices are processed accurately and that all approvals are gained before payments are made to each specific supplier. With your Senior status will come the responsibility to support, motivate and encourage the lesser experienced members of the team. As a Senior you will also play an active part in the Month end reporting process.

About you:
You will be an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant, perhaps looking for that extra responsibility that a Senior role offers. You will of course need to be able to bring previous experience of working a busy Accounts payable ledger and ideally within a multi-sited organisation.Training will be offered on the internal accounting package but a strong understanding of MS Excel would be advantageous.
