Here at Wallis lynch we are working with a client in Coventry that we have a great relationship with to recruit a Purchasing Administrator to join their vibrant and motivated team.
The Purchasing Administrator will provide general administrative support to the Finance team, including the creation and day-to-day maintenance of a central depository for all supply chain data and information. You will be reporting into the supportive Procurement Manager who will guide you in your role.
In this role of procurement support administrator you will create and maintain a central depository for all supply chain data and information. You will manage and maintain all supplier master data and you will co-ordinate Event Travel requirements. You will be lead low value low risk projects as directed by your line manager. You will undertake assigned activities to support the sourcing and selection of domestic and international suppliers. You will support the successful delivery of the Finance Team objectives by adopting a business partner approach and collate monthly cost savings data from suppliers and update departmental tracker. In addition you will provide Finance team with general administrative support and perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Lead Team.

It is essential for this role that you have strong analytical Skills. You should be keen to Business Process Improvement. You should also be a very critical thinker. You should have a solid set of mathematics skills and reasoning. You will react promptly to identify problems when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong and notify the appropriate supervisory personnel of problems as they occur. You will be the kind of person who stay focused and uses time efficiently. You will prioritize work effectively and you will performs work with minimal supervision.
As the ideal candidate you will be educated to A levels or equivalent, you should have some experience in Finance or Procurement. You will know the basics of Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. You will have excellent organisational skills with ability to multi-task and basic knowledge of Finance, in particular Accounts Payable.
