Job Description

My client, a leading and extremely well renowned organisation based in Didcot, are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Purchase Ledger Manager, you will be required to deal with the following duties:
·Processing of Accounts Payable invoices and credits
·Reconciliation of supplier statements
·Resolution of supplier queries
·Raising of requisitions and obtaining of approvals within the company approvals matrix
·Assist with the implementation and maintenance of a new purchasing process
·Work with the Procurement manager to minimize the approved supplier list
·Ensure all documentation in relation to contractors and suppliers is kept up to date
My client is looking for a candidate with the following attributes:
·Experience within a similar role is a must!
·Intermediate Excel skills ie V-Lookups and Pivot tables
·Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal
·Able to work well under pressure and to deadlines
·Able to build relationships
·Excellent organisation skills
Working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm (37.5 hour working week)
