Sales and Banking Assistant
Nuneaton £9.50-£10.50 per hour temporary, ongoing
Wallis Lynch is recruiting in partnership with our Warwickshire client to appoint a Sales and Banking Administrator to join their recently refurbished Head Office in Nuneaton.
About the role:
Reporting to the Sales and Banking Supervisor you will work along side a team of 5 within the immediate department. Alongside your colleagues you will assume responsibility for ensuring that the stores sales and revenue are recorded and reconciled in a timely and accurate manner. Communicating appropriately with store operations and senior finance peers to minimise and resolve any discrepancies. On a daily basis you will reconcile your own stores cash and card transactions to the bank statements, complete store petty cash, accurately record any store vouchers and process new store and relocation costs.
To be considered:
Ideally you will have experience of working in a busy finance department, preferably in a role that has involved significant levels of communication with finance and non-finance colleagues. If it happens to be in a multi-sited retailer then that would be a real added bonus. Your attention to detail and accuracy will be put to good use and will your ability to organise your day around changing priorities. Training will be offered on the internal accounting system but a strong Excel ability would be highly advantageous.
