Wallis Lynch is recruiting in partnership with our Warwickshire client to appoint a Treasury Assistant to their HQ
About the role:
Reporting to the Treasury Manager, you will support the team in ensuring that all the UK and International payments are processed in an accurate and timely manner whilst assisting with cash flow forecasting. You will also play an active role in ensuring all banking activities are conducting in accordance with expectation. Tasks will include:
- Raising/sending payments via various banking on line sites, ensuring accuracy and authorisation
- Daily bank downloads
- Management of BACS files
- Monthly Credit Card reconciliation/expense reconciliations
- Cash book posting
- Assisting in treasury reporting
- Ad hoc treasury project work
To be considered:
You will have experience of working in a busy finance department, with exposure to the type of activities listed above. Due to the fast pace and volumes within the role you will need to be highly organisation and able to work to tight deadlines under the pressures of a dept that processes very high volume of transactions. Previous experience of working with online banking platforms will be key, although training will be offered on their specific platforms if you haven't used them before. A good working knowledge of Excel will also be highly advantageous
